Very High - Fires spread rapidly and show erratic behavior. Dangerous burning conditions exist. |

Extreme - Potential for large fires exists. Extreme fire behavior is probable. Critical burning conditions exist. |

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DISCUSSION...HIGH RANGELAND FIRE DANGER INDICES WILL EXIST ACROSS SOUTHWESTERN NORTH DAKOTA WITH MEDIUM TO LOW VALUES OVER CENTRAL AND EASTERN NORTH DAKOTA. EXPECT MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES WITH SOUTH WINDS OF 10 TO 15 MPH THIS AFTERNOON. THE MINIMUM RELATIVE HUMIDITY WILL RANGE BETWEEN 20 AND 25 PERCENT ACROSS WESTERN NORTH DAKOTA AND 30 TO 45 PERCENT ACROSS THE CENTRAL AND EAST.
